Coming across like Death Cab For Cutie masquerading as an eighties band, “Memorial Day Parade” features quirky synth leads, chiming guitars and an aching falsetto. The b-sides include a gorgeously sparse take on The National’s “Mistaken For Strangers” and a wistful, cinematic instrumental.
